Kate Hudson Let Her Son Do Her Makeup and the Results Are a Must-See

Looks like Kate Hudson has hired a new makeup artist.

The 37-year-old mother of two spent a playful day with 5-year-old son Bingham Hawn Bellamy on Friday, letting the young “fireball” take a stab at doing her makeup.

After their usual snuggle session — appropriately set to the tune of “Wild Thing” by The Troggs —Bing let loose on his mom’s cosmetics and went wild.

“That’s a good color,” she told her son — whom she calls Bing.

“I love that color,” she said, as he choose a pinkish purple which he applied with his finger.

Moving onto using a makeup brush, Bing assured viewers that he was doing his mom’s makeup properly. “Hi, I didn’t put too much on the brush,” he said, before repeatedly slapping her face with the tool.

“I like the slapping technique,” Hudson said, laughing. “It’s like a new thing.”

Next was the eyeliner — and for that, Bing had a giant pallet of colors to choose from. As he picked, Hudson asked him what color he was going to use.

“Oh pink, that’s going to be good,” she said, looking at his selection. “Where do you put it?”

“On the eyes,” he responded — focused on the task at hand.

Bing didn’t stop with just pink. He added silver to her eyeliner too.

“Silver and pink — dope colors,” his mom remarked. “Good-looking, kid.”

She wasn’t too sure when he went for blue next. “Blue’s gonna be interesting…” she said, trailing off.

But she was happy with the outcome.

“That’s good — that looks really… that’s very modern,” she said. “Cool, look at that. What do you think?”

“I like it!” Bing said.

He wasn’t done yet, though.

Next, the makeup mastermind took to her brows, painting her left brow pink. He even assured his mom he would use “the same color as I did the other one” when he applied the color on her right brow.

“Wow, this is intense!” Hudson said, pausing to look at herself. “I have to say, I’m kind of into it.”

Then came the underliner — for which Bing went to an old staple color: blue.

“Oh wow — what’s it looking like?” Hudson asked Bing as get started the process.

He was quick to calmly assure her it was “looking good.”

“It’s so cool,” she remarked, catching his work in the camera. “Honey, you’re such an artist. Now it’s getting out there. You’re really going there now with the blue.”

Stepping this up a notch, he applied a streak of yellow from the tips of her eyes to her hairline.

“Oh Bing — that’s really cool,” she told him. “I don’t know, I think we should go to burning man. You can be my makeup artist.”

In the end, Hudson appeared ecstatic with the results.

“I think it looks cool,” she told her second-born. “I think it’s very ’80s.”

She then proved her point by lip-syncing and dancing along to the Eurythmics’ 1983 hit “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).”
